Data Logging Slow Refresh Rate
I just got an OBDLink LX bluetooth scan tool to record data while autocrossing / at the track / etc. I am using it with the Torque app for Android.
Supposedly this devise is capable of recording hundreds of different parameters per minute, but it is very choppy in my S2000. It hangs on values which are output from the OBD for 2-3 seconds sometimes. In the spreadsheet that I look at after using it, for example, it will break every bit of data down to the tenth of a second, but the engine speed will say exactly 2767.25 for 30 straight data points.
I have tried using the scan tool with the Torque app in a 2006 Mercedes and a 1996 Toyota. They both update more quickly, but still not as fast as the 10Hz record rate of the Torque app.
Do other people have this problem with their S? Any suggestions?
