Default de-badging question

Ordered some JDM diffusers and side markers and would also like remove the "S2000" badge to finish the smoother look.

Does anyone know whats behind there; studs & holes like the front/rear, or just glue. How did you remove them?

My car currently has the JDM markers and headlights and I had the S2000 badges removed.
The badges are attached by 3M adhesive tape ... no holes or screws. I would talk to your local body shop about removing the badges without damaging the paint, or have them do it.

Good luck.

Just glue on the sides.
I used dental floss to tear em off. Then picked at the left over adhesive for hours until it was ok to use rubbing alcohol to clean off the rest. Car's paint was ok. After all, I have black.

I got hit in the side a few months ago and had the body shop do it during the repair.

A heat gun will cause the glue to melt and make it a lot easier to get off. If you don't have a heat gun, a blow dryer will work.

Read this http://www.handa-accessories.com/S2000/s2kblkchrm.pdf. it covers the removal and reinstallation of that part. Just don't reinstall

Same adhesive solvent used to remove front and rear H badges will work just as well on the S2000.
