Need help
Hey everyone.
I just bought a stock 02 S2000 and love it.
This morning however the clutch felt very weird and light to depress. It also was kind of sticking at the bottom close to the floor. At the first stop light it was hard to get it into 1st gear. When the clutch does engage, it is not slipping at all.
I had an 02 WRX that seemed to develop the same problem and it turned out to be the master slave cylinder.
Does this sound like something someone has had a problem with in the past. Or, does it sound like a fluid problem, or, did I fry my clutch.
Any help would be much appreciated!

It sounds like a problem I had a while back. (i have an 02 also) The honda tech said that my master slave is worn and needs to be replaced since it's leaking into the firewall. Check your fluid levels and make sure the fluids aren't low. He said once the fluid runs out, you're going to need to replace it along with the clutch.
as far as the clutch itself, does it engage high? if so, you might need a new clutch soon.

Thanks for all of the help.
It turned out that it just needed to be bled. Everything is fine except that now the engagement point is almost to the top. I have put it in a real high gear at low rpms and mashed the throttle. I get no slippage at all, so I think the clutch is fine.
I want to lower the engagement point of the clutch. I have read how you can do it underneath the clutch pedal, but how the hell can you get your head under there let alone do any work.
Is there an actual picture that is online that can be accessed? Does anyone have any tips on the procedure or how to lay to get to it without be a circus freak LOL
