You sound like one of those parents that goes to school and yells at the principal when her child gets detention. "My little angel would never . . . " We are trying to help you out here. Like I said have them examine the Drive By Wire system if the cylinder head/plugs/coils are ok.

I've owned nothing but manual transmission cars for over 35 years; my wife has owned nothing but manual transmission cars since we were married 26 years ago. I missed a shift from third to fourth and caught second at a speed that could have damaged the engine. Luckily, I caught the mistake before any damage was done.
OK, I concede that your daughter is a far superior driver who cannot, under any circumstances, ever make a mistake. May I ask if the car was ever loaned to anyone?

Obviously no one on this internet forum can see nor inspect your car. We also can not confirm nor deny what your daughter did or did not do.
Your question has already been answered in the first 2 or 3 posts. Go to the local forum as ask for a local respectable mechanic or dealership and bring the car to them. Bitching about it to a bunch of people over the internet will do you no good and only invite more ridicule.

I rarely contribute to these type posts, but after reading this thread I am going to. This is a forum about S2000's and is here for people to gather information and give information to each other. In the first couple of responses their were legitimate answers given. The amazing thing is that you came to this site looking for help, and are bashing the people who are trying to help you. If you are treating the service people at the honda dealer the way you are treating the people here know wonder no one is helping you. The BOTH of you sound like a pair of whining Paris hilton wannabe's. A little common courtesy and respect go along way. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this site, I can't imagine why anyone of them would be willing to help you at this point. I wish you luck with your Honda, there is NO car manufacturer that makes a perfect car!! Perhaps if you changed your attitude some other people might chime in and give you some ideas that might lead you in the right direction. Sorry for the rant.
