Default DESPERATE NEED OF HELP!

ok everyone, now im getting frantic/furious. im stranded away from my home, school and work with my 96k 2002 S on jackstands. i performed a simple slave cylinder replacement last night and am trying to bleed the system. ive been following the clutch bleed procedure and gone through the

open valve,
push pedal,
close valve,
pull pedal,

steps close to 50 or so times and nothing but air has been coming out of the valve. the fluid level in the resevoir has remained the same the entire time. i tried removing the slave and actually filling it with fluid before putting it back on to reduce the amount of air in the system and this did nothing but make it harder to reinstall but still nothing but air comes out. i really am getting desperate for help.

I think you need to:
Push pedal
open valve
close valve
pull pedal

Repeat until no air comes out. Check reservoir every 3-4 cycles and fill as needed. This insures your not introducing air into the system.

just gravity bleed it..open the bleed valve and leave it open. Leave the cap off the reservoir. Fluid should come out.

If nothing is coming out, did you put the banjo fitting on in the correct order? bolt, washer, fluid hose, washer, slave cyinder.

The clutch cannot be bled by pumping and opening.

UNBOLT the slave, leave line attached. Fill the res.

Pedal up, no one in the car.

Point the bleeder straight up, and open it. Gravity will push the air right out.

If it doesn't, something is wrong with the install.

You should post what you did...you may save someone, like me, from repeating the same mistake! ;-)

Where you looking at the brake reservoir instead of the clutch reservoir?
