Diff blown? Loud noise from rear
So after around 2 months of not driving the car I take it out for a 20 mile ride. As I get back into it and try to leave, I am greeted by this awful noise and get it towed to my house. I can put it into any gear just fine but as soon as I let off the clutch this is what happens. Sound is coming from below the trunk. This is in every gear. I had reverse though up until I made this video. This is a used differential I got from an autowrecker that was put in last year after the original one bit the dust. Does not make any noise when it rolls. Any help is greatly appreciated

Thats not the Differential. You have a cracked spider bearing in one of your axles. I can almost guarantee it is your Drivers Side axle. Jack up the rear and take a look. Look for a twisted CV boot at the differential.

Couldn't tell any of the boots were twisted from the outside, maybe because it happened when I just started moving from a stop? But it was indeed the driver side axle for future reference. Thanks for the help
