diff clicking..
i have the 4.56 gears that came as a complete trade out for my old diff. I am lowered about 1" (i mention this becuase in some threads it seems lowering the car causes issus) anyways i hear a faint "click" when ever i start off the line or lift off the throttle at low speeds, i dont hear the click at higher speeds, but it occurs when there is a transfer of weight /power at low speeds. it dosent sound bad and i have no metal shavings in my diff. Im just wondering if its anything i should worry about or is that just the LSD working correctly?

Yeah.. and very shortly afterwards followed by a BOOOM!
If gears fail in your diff, either the final drive gearset or gears inside the Torsen, the diff would most likey go BOOOM!
Especially "of the line" clicks are most likely axle nut related.
As xviper allready mentioned many, MANY times before on these boards.
Aren't the side effects of going gear a ticking noise?

Brake pads shifting?
Jack up the rear of the car, put it in neutral, and spin the rear wheels back and forth. Let us know what happens.

i checked today, dosent seem to be the pads, i did however move the wheel back and fourth and it seems like there is some slack in the driveline, i would turn a wheel and the diff and driveshaft would not move untill i had picked up that slack. does this seem to be something inside the diff or maybe just need to retighten the connection from the driveshaft to the diff or tranny to driveshaft? thanks guys

1. Your wheel bearing may have been damaged just enough that even with the axle nuts tightened (to 220 lb/ft, right?), it may still click on take off.
2. Being lowered, did you install the output shaft spacers? If not, it may be related to your CV joints trying to wear in new pressure points. Do you have any signs of vibrations upon moderate to hard acceleration?
