Diff fluid level
I changed my differential fluid and some lady in charge of the shop I was using told me not to use the pump and to use a tube and gravity. Well that was a bad idea, as I spilled a bunch of fluid and ran short since I only brought one quart. So I barely managed to get the differential full. The car was level and I could feel the fluid slightly below the fill hole when I stuck my pinky in there. I did not have enough fluid to let it spill out the hole though. I am wondering how bad such a small difference in recommended fluid level will be for the differential.
I am thinking it wouldn't make much of a difference because I imagine the oil being splashed all around inside the differential once the car gets moving. Am I wrong? How does the oil work inside the differential?
I plan on topping it off next week and I want to be assured it'll be ok to drive my car for a week like this.

First off, why are you taking a woman's advice on how to fill a differential?
Pump has always worked just fine for me. If the fluid is pretty near to the fill hole I wouldn't worry about it, that little difference isn't gonna hurt anything, just maybe avoid those 7k rpm launches until you get a chance to top it off
