Default Differential Fluid Change

Hi, I followed these instructions...

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=348700

However, when I was filling the diff fluid back in, when I pumped in 85% of a quart, it started leaking fluid back out already. What did I do wrong?

Hmmm, not sure exactly how much a quart is but believe it's close to a litre (what we use in the modern world). 85% would be about right then.

Ok, it's about 800ml.

So long as you drained the diff properly (warmed it up by driving a bit, jacked the car up so the drain was low) and made sure the fill point was high you should be ok.

I believe the diff holds 0.82 quarts of fluid. Sounds like you did it just right!
