Wrong. The SAE standard was changed. This site explains it. Since Honda used the old standard, SAE 110 is okay. Also, if you check the specs, LE1605 is about the same thickness as discontinued LE607. Try some SAE 110! I was surprised by how much quieter my diff was using LE1605/LE607.

It's 75W85 GL4 gear oil.
You mean the Amsoil MTF (Synthetic Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid)? Their site shows it as meeting Honda specs, and lists it as 5w30, so I thought it was motor oil based. Seems like it has the right additives since it shifts great.

The Honda MTF is 75W85/SAE10W30 (the owners manual states you can use this in a pinch). The AMSOIL MTF is a little bit thinner, but appears to work very well as some have reported.

Royal Purple 75w90. I also used Mobil 1 75w90 and Castrol synthetic for my girl friend 2004 Toyota RAV-4 transfer case and differential with positive result. The best fluid for the s2000 is SAE90, or hypoid gear oil API service GL5/GL6. LE has this type of fluid and Royal Purple has it but only available in a 5 gallons container. Probabaly will last the life time of ownwership since the s2000 only use up to 1 quart of differential oil. SAE90 is thicker fluid compare to 75w90, but when temperature goes down to sub-C. 75w90 is an optimum choice, so use your judgment according to your climate. I change the differential fluid annually regardless of milage (with an exception of after a track day/session).
