The Mazda RX8 with 220 NM of torque uses the same differential (At least Ring / Pinon gear) and damaged diffs are unknown in the RX 8 community.
Maybe some S2000 owners threat their cars just a little bit to rude?

RX-8 engines usually go long before the differential.
