DIFF-TRANS Fluid change
Just hit 50K miles and changed both the Trans and Diff Fluids
For the TRANS, I used Redline MTF about 2 quarts $30 bucks and pumped it in via a Drill Pump Motor. After 30 K miles the oil was still Reddish and seemed fine.
For the DIFF, I used Honda Hypoid Gear Oil-GL5 $20 bucks about 1 quart with same drill pump. This oil was kinda dark and smelled like used Gear oil.
If there are no leaks, U can assume a safe change every 50 Thousand miles...
I also change the Serp Belt-Air Filter-Plugs every 50K also

Tranny oil should always come out looking fresh and new, since there's nothing there to contaminate it visually. The problem is it breaks down under heat and pressure, which is why it should be changed at least every 60k miles (service interval), or when you can feel it degrading.
The service interval on differential fluid is only 15k. I would not advise you let it go 50k. The diff in the S2K is weak, and the fluid is under very high pressure and breaks down quickly. It smells like sulfer right out of the bottle, and is equally stinky when removed. You may have some shimmer or metal particulates in the fluid or on the magnetic drain plug that will cause the color to change slightly, but you should NOT see any metal flakes or chunks. I stick to Amsoil Severe Gear these days, 75w90, 75w110 or 75w140 (hot climates) should work. The spec calls for SAE 90 GL-5 hypoid gear oil, so what you have should probably be ok if the viscosity is within tolerance.

No, I didnt see any type of metal or flaking at all, just used oil is all.
Ive managed to gey 400K miles out of my 1997 Honda Accord, hell the radiator and fluid lasted 15 years without any flush
I assume the 75-140 is compatible with this Honda Diff, if so then I will change it at another 20K and use the Amsoil
