difference between jdm and usdm trannies?

There is an aftermarket short throw shifter for the RHD models that has a slight bend to it. The bend makes it awkward to use on a LHD model. This might mean the RHD and LHD cars have slightly different shifters from the factory.

That would be the only difference I could think of.

As a person that owned both, the only difference is that the shifter is offset more to the right (passenger side).
