Default Differential Fluid

Finally going to have time to do some service changes to my car. I was planning to do a full fluid flush to my car. I've looked up everywhere but I cant find the OEM honda s2000 differential fluids. I'm going to use the OEM Honda MTF for the transmission but cant find anything about the differential. I was also going towards the Amsoil but dont know what grade to get 75w90 or 75w110. Or should i go with mobil 1. I live in florida if that helps.

I think synthetic 75W-90 gear lube is fine.

look at the DIY stickies, its been covered multiple times. there is no OEM diff fluid for our car so dont try that route. I used Mobil 1 75w-90 some say they get winding noise, but mine has been fine. Others go with 75w-110. AMSOIL is good. Mobil 1 worked for me. OEM everything else, but not DIFF

These are tiny differentials. I just put LE 1605 in mine based on numerous threads here.

This car isn't particularly demanding on fluids, so the long and short of it is unless you are doing something very extreme (racing, nothing but track days), most fluids will be fine so long as you follow proper change intervals for your given usage.

As far as weights go, the nominal weight for the diff fluid for this car is 75W-110. You can go one grade lighter (75W-90), and one grade heavier (75W-140) generally without any ill effects, though I would be cautious if you are on the extreme end of any usage spectrum.

Puddy recommended 75W-140 for my newly rebuilt diff, so I've been running that in my new diff for the past 1000 miles or so. I might go with a slightly thinner fluid on my next change though.

How often do you change the diff fluid, using LE 1605? Normal use. Heavy duty use.

Thanks!
