Jack up the rear by the differential. Install stands at the jack points.
For the fronts, I jack up at the jack points and place my stands on the control arms. There is also an engine subframe jack point, if your jack can reach it.

Drive up front wheels on bricks/2x4.
Jack up from front center point.
Setup front end jack stands.
Lower car onto jack stands.
Jack up rear of car from the differential.
Setup rear jack stands (set and the same height so the car is level).
Lower car onto jack stands.
Don't raise the rear before the front (or lower the front first), because the front bumper/lip might hit the ground. While you're at it, change the MTF and oil.
Jack up from front center point.
Setup front end jack stands.
Lower car onto jack stands.

Went to pepboys picked up same pump as OP ,1 qrt of mobile 75w-90and 24mm socket , I couldn't find a 23mm, so I tryed a 15/16, that failed! So I'm glad I didn't take out the drain plug first, because now I'm going to have to wait for ammazon to ship the 23mm socket. Btw I went to 4 diffrent autoparts stores and no luck finding a 6point 23mm so ammazon was my only source for 15$. I went to dealer for washers and the part #s you guys posted did not match with what honda wanted to give me. I told him I wanted (904o2-pcz-003) &( 9o401-pcz-003)

^^ I tryed sears in my area and the sockets and wrench in 23mm gets skipped .
I got my 23mm sockets in the mail, and the socket was taking up at least 85% of the clearance area, not sure what to do now, hopefully a fellow s2k owner comes by my work and ill see if they have a 23mm wrench I could borrow..

Yeah I couldn't find a 23mm wrench anywhere. Pain in the butt. Did my trans fluid yesterday and was about to do the diff. I did it before so must have lost the wrench or something. Guess I will have to order one from sears.
