I got a Duralast from Autozone. They had a good selection of wrenches and sockets. Looked like a good place to pick up odd sizes.

I will also add that it seems better built then my Craftsman wrenches (and for much less $$).

Bought from Pep Boys or Autozone can't remimber. Both should be a good sourse for this wrench.

Craftsman does sell 23 mm wrenches, I know because I have one.

And I believe the drain bolt is 24 and can be used with a socket since clearance is not an issue.

i skimmed this thread. my question is if you do this in your garage with no lift. put the rear on jackstands to do this arent you losing the ability to see when the dif is full. wouldnt you always have to have this done on a lift or am i missing something?

well i guess page 11 would make sense you have to use four jackstands, guess its sunday and i was being retarded

Is a 23mm box end wrench mandatory or highly recommended? I already have a 23mm open end wrench, but not box end.

For me it's mandatory..risk of rounding with the open wrench.

Thanks. It's now mandatory for me, too. That's a very good point that was never explained before.
