Default DIY Fuel pump

Anyone do a FYI on our fuel pump or can give some advise for changing it?

Look at this Vortech manual for the supercharger kit. It shows how to change out the fuel pump:

I just did my fuel pump the other day. From what I had read on the forum I thought that the install was going to be a nightmare, but it turned out to be quite easy and straight forward. I also used the instructions that Xviper just linked to you to help me out. Basically, first you need to take the rear deck trim out, it consists of the two plastic pieces that the soft top folds down onto. You will just need to pop out about eight or so clips and drop the piece down through the trunk. Next, you will need to take out the lining in your trunk and the spare tire for some space. You can then remove the 3 screws that hold the top of the fuel pump and disconnect the electric harness that goes to the top of the pump. Then you can disconnect the two fuel lines that are connected to the pump and remove the eight or so bolts that hold the fuel pump down. You can then pull the pump assembly out and remove the actual pump. You are simply swapping it out, and you will need to remove another electric clip that is attatched to the stock pump and when you replace it with the walbro unit, or whatever you are using, you will have to cut the rubber hose about a 1/4" or so to make it fit snugly. Then just drop it back in and bolt it up. The install only took about 25 mins once I got all of the plastic out, I was pretty shocked. Have fun with the install.

Also, I should say that you can get the rear tray fasteners out from the trunk, by squeezing and pushing up. This was easier for me than from above, since the rear ones aren't the neato push and release fasteners.
