This thread is for the initial installation. Once installed (takes an hour or two to install), it takes 2 mins to remove or reinstall. Open windows or doors, flip both seats up, unlatch front latches, unlatch rear latches, disconnect wire connector from plug and then remove the top. You do need more than one person. My teenagers work just fine for this

Very nice-thanks for sharing this information. I would definately have to get over the the intial install...kinda daunting and intimidating. I'm still in the market for a GPW HT....anyone?

Do you happen to have the part number for those 2 rubber spacers that you attached to the soft top? I bought my hardtop used and I obviously don't have those parts. I wonder what they are for, but I'm betting some sort of protection. I'd like to get a pair of those rubber spacers if possible. Thanks!

Great DIY. Just finished the install and it really helped to have the pics in addition to the instructions. Total time was 1h50min with at least two heineken breaks. Thanks agian.
