replace smoothie with beer and use a 12mm wrench

great write up! wish i woulda seen this last week when the one on the jeep went out. i was trying to put it in backwards the whole time! hahah

Thanks and like I said beer is better I agree

Oops, well I have a SEVERE shortage of even basic tools so I had to use whatever worked...don't think I have a 12 mm ...one of these days when I get my own garage hopefully I can get more.

Haha, yeah, I was confused as hell when I first pulled the panel off and looked in there...felt like a caveman looking at a cell phone

if only you would have done this 2 months ago when i bought my S and it had a broken regulator. either way it only took about an hour and im a 16 year old dumbass with no experience in any of these things. anyways nice write up

yeah its not too hard once you remove the plastic on the inside of the door panel and take a look at what you have to work with. also did anyone else just completely rip off that plastic insteadof putting it back on?

my driver side door has this issue.

so assuming my cable snapped, y cant i just try to fix the cable or is it not possible?

the motor still turns.
