Be really careful with the t-taps, they tend to cut not only the insulation but the wires underneath, if you have to use them, support them with e-tape so that you're sure they won't move around.

I just installed the same setup shown at the top of the page and just like he said it was easy. Be sure all wire taps are on good and secure all loose excess wire with zipties or elec. tape

I would recomend leaving the 3000rpm pill in for testing of the light , that way you dont have to drive the car to see if it works and you also dont have to free rev the engine to 8900rpm ( not good )

I had a 8900 rpm pill in at first and the light came on right at rev limiter, so 8800rpm is the best pill for this light

im putting the same shift light but im a little confused. i know the red and black go to the battery, but were exactly do i connect the green wire to?

nvm i already figured it all out i just finished instaling it it came out great

Hello, I know you aren't are the forum a lot anymore, but was wondering if there was a way to fix this DIY. I was just about to do it, even though it's 10 yrs old, and there's a lot of missing posts and pics I think.
