what u guys using to drill the holes? i went on the ubit site, and there is alot of different things to use to make holes.

A little update after 9 years since I first created this thread.
My car is now supercharged and uses a custom V-mount intercooler. I was using the hood vents to exhaust air from the intercooler. I recently ran some wool tuft tests to determine flow patterns and then added some vents and ducts.
Some conclusions I came to are that for my application, the perforated aluminum doesn't seem to be causing any restriction in flow and the side vents nearest the windshield do indeed flow out of the hood. I have some other mods and testing in mind for the future.

I did this mod a while back and I still believe this is my favorite mod of all.
