So I finally saved up enough money for a motor build but was wondering if any of the pre 2006 stuff is interchangeable with the 2006+. For example can I swap in a f20c block head or tranny with my 2006 or due to the fact that I have a 2006 with DBW mean that I must only use 2006 and up motor parts? Please be specific like for example "I can run a f20c block but not the head because...." any and all info would be much appreciated thanks guys

 

in 06 the only things honda changed were vsa and electronic throttles, they still had the same f22's and trannys from early ap2's.

 

Intake manifold is different. Not sure whether the head casting is different or not.

And I assume the f20c block is interchangable as well
