Hi everyone, I always notice that my engine has some kind of ticking sound. It's most obvious when cold. I suspect it's valve noise but can someone help me confirm it? Also does it need any fixing? It's been a long time but I have never confirmed if this is OK or not.

Could be timing chain tensioner.
