does S2k differential has LSD
The real issue with a Torsen is that it is a torque ratio device. If one wheel has little traction it will transfer X times that torque to the other wheel. IE, if the ratio is 3:1 and the left wheel looses traction it will transfer 3X (or 75%, 3:1 is the same as 75%:25%) the torque to the other wheel.
But what happens if one wheel has 0 traction! 3 x 0 is still zero. That's why Torsens are not used in offroad vehicles (except with traction control or secondary locking mechanisms). Because one wheel off the ground would result in no torque to other wheels.
Shouldn't really be an issue with an S2000 as you'll never have a wheel off the road for long. If you do you've got much bigger problems. Even a slipping wheel has a certain amount of traction.

If you read your owners manual, it says to use SAE 90 viscosity hypoid gear oil, API service classified GL5 or GL6 only in the differential. I have yet to see a GL6, therefore, you can use GL5.
Most of the peeps I know including myself, use Mobil 1 75w-90 Gear oil. It is a very good synthetic gear oil and is GL5 rated.

that's a good one
