All the talk about loose or missing ground/earth wires in another thread has made me curious.

Does something connect to this threaded stud on the valve cover? No loose wires or harnesses apparent. I've owned the car over a year and nothing has ever been there.

no nothing connects to that location, they all have that hole unused.

 

it may be a mounting location for a rhd f22 wiring harness or something.
