Default Doing my own maintainance

Thanks to this forum I have decided to do my own work on my new "S." What is the best way to document my work ( oil changes, diff. fluid changes, trans. fluid changes....) in order to maintain the factory warranty? Any special format or forms I should use? Any suggestions would be appriciated. Thank You.

Keep all receipts for oil, filters, parts, etc. Keep a running log of mileage, date, what all you did at that interval. If possible, have another person sign or initial the log, although this is getting really extreme. If you have a claim and the dealer thinks you didn't do an oil change, you can always get the oil analyzed as proof.

agree with above, keep all receipts and then take pictures of the new parts/fluids and old parts/fluids...next to today's newspaper

another good column might be how long it took and issues you've encountered during the service.
