You are in Ireland?
(as the flag suggests)
Is that Euro 95 or Euro 98 fuel?
You need the 98. (RON)
No its not.
Adjust it (with cable lenght NOT throttle linkage idle set screw) until it has almost no play: it shouldn't affect the throttle linkage position!
Gain 20 HP at no cost
Today I've tried it: driving in 1st at 2000 rpm and flooring it and there is some "bucking" because the car jumps forwards, how much depends on how fast you floor it.
Gentle inputs = better
If the spark plugs turn out to be non OEM the previous owner probably made a mess of maintenance.
What fuel have you put in?
just the normal unleaded sold over here noting else

And check the trottle cable play.

ok folks here we go haha i drove it all day today! now it happened again but instead off doing what i normally do and clutch it and rev it, i just drove it and lets say i was in 2nd gear i had the foot down and instead of picking up pace quick and climbing through the rev range and it went no where!!! the foot was acclerating and it was going no where!! now this only happend once from driving for 6 hours lol so as i say its not serious but very annoying as i constantly worried! does this help further the dignosis? hoping its just bad crappy plugs

Have you check your plugs yet?
I hope you realize that you can destroy your motor by driving around with a loose spark plug.
And Yes, this sounds suspiciously like a loose spark plug to me.
