What are you trying to do? The external door handle? The interior door handle? The door catch on the door jam?

i need to know how to take off the door actuator inside the door jam and put in the new actuator. working in that tight space is going to be really tight but is there another way.

There isn't another way.

And I just took a look in the Helms Service Manual (I would recommend you go buy one). According to the manual, you need to remove the outer door handle (10 step process). Then you can start on the latch removal (another 15 steps). The steps have to be done in order. I could write them all out, but without the diagrams they are not going to make much sense.

Definitely go buy the manual.
