Honestly...I'd look for legal recourse if I could.

BTW...what your mechanic said does not give me too much confidence in their ability. The guides are the same on the ap1 & ap2...takes a couple seconds to look that up to verify. I would NOT let him machine the guides to make them fit. Either the supplier sent the wrong part or the mechanic ordered the wrong part. They should pay to overnight the correct part.

Also, I'm going to be impressed if the valve guides are the problem.
