I backed this the other night i think its a really good idea, have it permanently in your car and you can check absolutely everything all the time.

So its a bluetooth enabled OBD2 port reader that connects to your phone and has a nice looking interface which gives you a read out of everything going on in the car, including your economy on your trips etc

I think it would definitely help it the mitigation of major issues.

What do people think?

There's only 7 left though if your interested!

It looks like it has a pretty slick interface and nice functionality, but a lot of the important things can already be done with something like this Elm 327 from Amazon

combined with an app like OBD Fusion (what I use) or Torque (popular android app).

Looks like Torque Pro for Dummies version. Not knocking it; I think it would sell well. Not everyone knows how to use apps like Torque Pro to this extent.

Exactly. I use Torque Pro and love it. But it would be better for my wife (and for the vast majority of the population) to jump into an all-real-time (when the car is on) app that also adds your service interval histroy and ALSO does the translation of CEL and other codes for what to check. Frankly if I've ever gotten I code I go to Google and badda bing badda boom I know what the problem is and probably how to fix it. My wife doesn't do that though lol.

So how is this any different then a 30 dollar bluetooth obd2 plug from amazon.com and torque pro? this just seems more user friendly.

This seems to do a lot of things that torque does not... I want one.
