Default Driver Side Door Removal

What is the fastest way to remove the driver side door?

I see two latches with two bolts each, and the spring thing in the middle of the latches

Whats the fastest way to disconnect the electronics? Is it one big plug or many smaller plugs? Whats the fastest way to access the plug(s)

I am removing the door as a whole (window included) and I'll have the inner panel opened up (to switch locks).

Another question:

If I just switch the lock cylinder (for the key) will the door unlock with the remote?

Thanks in advance guys..

Cut the wires and unbolt the hinges. Done.

Am I too late to help?

No I cannot cut the wires... I need the door

Its not too late I still have about 4 - 5 hours before I go do it.

I know there should be a wire for... the tweeter, the speaker, the pwr door lock.

thats 3 i'll have to remove + the lock cylinder.

anything else im missing?

There is a connector behind the kick panel for all the wires on the door. It's easier to go through the inner fender to remove the hinge bolts that are hard to get to. Yes your remote will work no matter what key cylinder you have. No need to cut the wires. The spring thing you referred to is a rubber housing that the wires are inside. It will come out just pull on it but disconnect the connector first.
