Default Driver side window issue

I went to lower the windows, except the driver side went straight down with no resistance, window motor still works, just won't raise or lower the window, I took off the door card and got the window up. Do I have to replace the regulator, or is it some other piece? I looked down and saw a cable that moves as I use the window switch.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok ordered a new regulator, I guess I'll do a DIY writeup when the part comes in.

Ive changed a few of them in other cars, usually its not to hard just gonna need a hand to hold up the window most likely. Usually have it taped up to put in the new motor, but since the S doesn't have a door pillar per say, it may be a bit more challenging.

Reading the manual, it seems like it's a bit more complex than your average civic. I was thinking of using suction cups to hold up the window.

Ok got it done, I was going to do a write up, but honestly it was so easy and simple to do I didn't bother, plus there's already a good writeup on here. Took me all of 20 minutes, and I had to clean up the thread on one of the window threads because I sort of cross threaded that bolt. All good now.
