Driver's door rattle
Hey everyone - pretty new to this forum and tried searching but nothing seemed to come up useful. Perhaps I just need to improve my search skillz, but in the meantime, perhaps you could help . . .
My driver's side door developed a nasty rattle recently, and upon investigation I noticed that when closed, it is not flush with the body as it is on the pass. side.
It's gotten to the point that during spirited right-hand turns, the centrifugal force is sufficient to trip the door-ajar sensor and the cabin lights illuminate! Even though I solved that problem by turning them off
I would like to resolve this issue . . .
Could it be a simple adjustment of the catch? It seems to be operating ok, as I can move it easily with my fingers. And, there's nothing preventing the door from closing fully - it just doesn't seem to want to "stay home."
thanks much . . .
