Default Driver's side rear lower than passenger side

While removing my KW's, the driver's side rear was being a little stubborn, so I stepped on the rotor to give me enough play to move the coilovers out. I had to basically jump on it very hard in order for my gf to be able to yank it out. While doing this, I heard a very loud snap type sound.

Looking at both sides, the driver's side rear control arms defenitely droop lower than the passenger side. I also put the driver's side coilover back in to see how easy it was to fit it back in and I could put it in no problem (no pushing on rotor necessary). So, I"m wondering , did I break something or is i just my imagination? I checked bushings, ball joints, etc. They all look fine. Nothing is visibly broken. I'm wondering if maybe something snapped on the CV joint connecting the axle to the diff. Is that a possiblity?

The torsion bushings simply snapped (rotated) to a new position. no harm done.

It will correct itself after a few good bumps.
