earlier vtec engagement

Default earlier vtec engagement

i recollect some time back seeing someting about connecting 2 pins to bring the engagement down to 4500 rpm
can someone remind me where to find the note
connecting the pins isnt dangerous ???
or is it easier to disconnect the oil check solenoid?

Never heard of this. The only way to lower VTEC engagement I've heard of is through a VAFC.

Are you sure this isn't something that the French tell to Belgians just to see if they'll believe it?

VTEC at 4500 RPM ... wouldn't that be about as exhilarating as premature ejaculation?

I beleive our stock motor is not designed for a 4,500 vtec engagement.

It would cause the engine to flow to freely and not have enough back pressure, therefore loosing power. Although i have heard(not sure of the valitity) lowering it to around 5100 or 5200 can help.
