The latches are opened, closed, then the roof is retracted. They made no noise until just a month or so ago. Occasionally the passenger side latch (the part you grab on to, not the hook) would rattle when the top was up. Usually redoing it would cure it.
Something is loose or needs lubrication. I don't know what to tighten or lube or what kind of lube I need to use (not the anal kind, that's from another thread).
