Default eibach springs?

I have a set of eibach springs I got off ebay. they did not come labled front and rear. they look almost the same but two are a little taller, and the other two look like they are a little thicker. so wich go in the front and wich go in the back? I am taking it to the shop in few min so i need a quick answer. thx

James

The spring rate should be printed in white on the coil on the side, e.g.0800250425 means 8" length, 2.5" internal diameted, and 425 lb/inch rate. Stiffer or softer in front depends on your setup, but for most the softer goes in front.

I askled this a while ago and some one said the bigger ones go in the front but they did not say bigger how. one set is bigger around the other 2 are taller. thx

Thicker ones should go at the front to cope with the higher loading of the engine.

Stock suspension and Mugen coilovers come with the softer springs in front. The S2000 is atypical. But some people do run the stiffer springs in front.

What higher loading? The car has an almost 50/50 weight distribution. We're not talking about some clapped out Civic here.

And, the motion ratio is greater in the back, so to have an equivalent wheel rate, we need a stiffer spring in the rear.
