Same damn thing happens to me too with my '00 at times. Did the map whack, but then came back after a week. And I know my TB is clean. So I will try replacing the map sensor and/or IAC motor. By the way, what is an IAC motor? Will my warranty from the dealership cover these 2 things if it came to it?

if they are causing the problem, then yes, assuming you have an aftermarket warranty.

also, again, i must reiterate, it is NOT caused by a DIRTY TB. it CAN be caused by a DIRTY IAC MOTOR. cleaning the TB is a dangerous way of inadvertently cleaning the IAC motor.
