Default Engine block adapter

As the title states does anyone have an accurate torque spec for the Greddy engine block adapter?

I am curious, what is a Greddy block adaptor ? You mean the block brace ? Or the oil sandwich adaptor ?

It is the oil sandwich adaptor. If I could find my helms, I would post it. It would be the same spec as the oil filter. I think it is 23ft lbs.

I tightened it to 20# the first time ...It came loose after about 150 miles... I guess I will try some blue loctite and 30 FT LB.

Brian,

Does this part go between the engine block and the oil filter? If so, and this is just a WAG, but have you made sure that two rubber gaskets didn't end up getting sandwiched together? I've read several reports of a removed oil filter leaving is gasket behind, and when the new filter with its own gasket were installed, the filter worked itself loose in relatively short order.

Didn't think about that. Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.
