Default Engine block question

Do you guys know if the block and main cap "girdle" or main cap piece is matched together by numbers or something?
Or possible to mix and match between engines?

The other engines I´ve seen using this design can´t use a block from engine A and girdle from engine B without killing the crank.
The reason is that the main journals are bored out or honed with the girdle in place and only create a perfect round hole when used together.

I hope you understand, not sure I used the right words.

The girdle and block are machined together as a pair and cannot be transferred between engines without having to line bore the main journals.

I would only line bore if there is minimal difference in alignment between the two halves when assembled.

Thanks buddy, just as I thought. Is there any numbers on the parts to match them and to check it´s right?
I´m buying a block and want to be 110% sure is the right girdle, that´s why I´m asking.

Hmmm... Hard for the engine builders if they have many engines in pieces.

That's why they get paid vs. doing it yourself in your basement. If you don't trust the builder, don't buy.
