Engine Cradle Shifted? (Updated resolved issue)
I'm rebuilding a car that was curbed on the front driver side. I put new lower control arms, and spindles on it. I have some snap on camber/caster gauges. I use these to get it close to make sure everything is square.
Well it’s not getting square. I'm getting 0 deg maximum on the driver’s side. and -1 maximum on the passenger side.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to shift the engine cradle on these the S2000. Is the engine cradle aligned, or does it use self aligning bolts that do not require the cradle to be aligned to the frame during installation. Thanks

Okay cool...
I just got done measuring the front subframe. Its shifted to the right about 1/4". Im not sure if its shifted or just bent in on one side. I'm going to try to loosen the bolts and move it over.
I guess if that doesnt work, I'll have to buy a new one. More fun!

Stratocaster.... You were right on...
I jacked up the front end loosened the engine cradle bolts. With my cast/camber gauges attached one on each wheel. I lightly tapped the right side with a soft blow hammer until both sides where equal. I tapped on the lower part of the rotor.
When doing this make sure your zero out all your alignment bolts first. Then loosen the cradle, and adjust it left to right. I was almost a whole degree off from left to right.
Now with the alignment bolts zero’d I’m at (-.48 front left) (-.49 front right).
Keep in mind this car hit a curb so hard it broke the lower control arm, and destroyed a spindle. So for anyone contemplating replacing an engine cradle try this first.
