engine doesnt sound right
Hi guys,
i need a little help here. The S has 24*** miles on it and i recently washed & waxed it and just parked it inside the garage for about 1 week. then i drove it today and i noticed a sound sort of like if you rub your arm..(something like sandpaper) but a constant sound its really hard to describe but it is coming from the engine. i popped the hood and it was coming from the pully or the alternator area. it makes the sound constantly during idle but it is least noticable at that time also. when i give it throttle the sound becomes louder. any ideas guys? sorry i know it is a irritating question because everyone has a post where it says "wierd sound HELP" or something like that. but i just drove it tonight and wanted to see if i can get the answer here, if not then i shall go to a dealership/shop.
