I have this same sound also, someone posted this same thing about a month or so ago, and it seems it was a pretty normal thing. Oh, and you definately need to get the oil changed if you still have the factory fill oil in at 10k miles.

Not not the factory oil, i've changed my oil every 3k miles just i havn't done it since my last oil change and i think i've already driven past 3k.

Did your sound just start one day? Cause the clicking sound from my car seems like it just started today, or it might have gotten louder today. Thanks

I had the same problem last week with 15 000 miles.
Honda checked my car and the told me it is valve train noise and that's normal for this engine. I ask them for fine adjustment but they said that would not make any difference. Feel better now. I know how it feels when your baby starts making noise :-)

just noisy valve train. you can adjust the valves yourself (takes about 2 hours to do it) and some of the noise will go away, but some of the noise will still be there. just the nature of hondas and especially our car.

What would be the difference between natural valve noise and a bent valve noise? Thanks

Why do you suspect you might have bent valves? This can only happen if you over-revved the engine.
I think to the average person, the two noises would sound very similar. A bent valve would make a more pronounced sound and will also affect that cylinder's compression.

The reason i fear it might be a bent valve is i heard some people claim that they did not over rev their cars but the dealer still claimed they bent a valve by over reving. I have downshifted from 3rd to 2nd and hit the limiter going around 60-65 mph but that was almost 3-4 months ago. Thanks

Did you notice a diff. in performance. if you have I would perform a cylinder compression test.
