Default Engine noise video clip

Hello, I wanted to get some input on what may be causing this faint chattering(clack clack clack) sound. It's a bit hard to hear at first but if you listen carefully you can hear the engine running smooth with the chattering coming in and out.

Most noticeable in the first 5 seconds of the video and at the end of the video after the rev coming back down to an idle it is there again.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I think I could hear what you're talking about but I'm on my laptop so I could be mistaken what you're trying to identify (terrible speakers). My AP2 makes this exact noise. I thought it was something terrible. Turns out it is normal (which I've had confirmed by a few people).

Take a mechanics stethoscope to different parts of the motor. Mine I couldnt actually find the source of the noise on the motor so it was probably just gear backlash or mild throwout bearing noise. Nothing to be concerned about if it's those things and they are relatively mild.

Nothing in your video is alarming me, but it does seem a bit noisier than normal though. If it were my car I would do a valve adjustment and poss do the TCT diy sand blast just to be sure, if the noise remains then just live with it. My car also makes a very similar noise, I did what I suggested you do and it is still there (slightly quieter though) so I just ignore it and it doesn't bother me.

Normal carry on, I've had that sound for 20,000mi and even after an engine rebuild, which was done right. You're valve clearance might be a tad loose here and there.
