How's it going fellow s2k'ers.I'm having an issue after doing a valve job/ retainer replacement. My cars an 2003. I'm getting a p1362 code. And engine will only start when the cam sensor is disconnected. Engine is idling smooth but is in limp mode.

I have replaced both cam sensors. Could the intake cam be off timing a bit or do I have connection problem.

 

I think you figured it out already, likely timing is off... iam surprised it starts with sensor unpluged at all.

Who did the job? Yourself or shop?

 

Sounds like your off 1 tooth.....
