Default Engine Serial Number

I have been asking and getting great advice about an upcoming purchase of a my06 s2k tomorrow.
Last question where is the engine serial number located and does it have to match the title?
I found a post showing the body panel vins

Thanks

I have an inspection mirror but I don't really have a legitimate reason to doubt that is right. So I guess I'll chek out rest of car and let it be
Thanks for the reply

Vin number (the number you are actually looking for to match) is on the back of the cyl head.

Serial number is far left front top of the engine block, at head gasket level.
