Every time I start my car for the first 30 secnds or so it so the engine stutters. Ill will start in first gear and then I will be pushing the gas petaldown but not gaining any speed, just rpms go up and then after a few seconds it will jerk and start accelerating. The same thing happens in every gear for about 30 seconds. If someone could please help me or someone who has had the problem and whatthey did to fix then that would be great. It is killing me that my ar is doing this. Thanks!

 

it could be a few things, first place to start is the MAP sensor, do a search on MAP Whack, I did that and also tried to clean mine with electronic parts cleaner spray, and I also cleaned out the small orifice that goes from the intake manifold under the MAP sensor as it can get clogged, sprayed it down along with the throttle body. Check the rubber o-ring under the MAP sensor too, if it is good enough to re-use put a small bit of shin etsu grease on it upon re-assembly. One other item is to clean out the idle air control valve, there is a DIY on this site for that, two very simple items to check that might fix your issues.
