Sounds like EPS module issues. The mechanical portion of the steering has never been touched or modified?

Check on this link and maybe go through Billman's suggested steps (half-way down the page)?

As far as I know, no. Can't say for sure from previous owner, but there's no corrosion or anything broken on the torque sensor or rack. Wires leading up to the module look fine as well. I'm leaning towards the module itself, but want to get some second opinions before shelling out the $$.

 

Did you try that reset that Billman recommended?

 

Yep. Tried the re-learn process multiple times. But, I'll re-verify all of the grounds sometime this weekend just to make sure. But when checked previous, they all appear to be good to go.
