Actually the flash codes translate to 3 and 22.
3 = LOW FET (Motor driver transistor) stuck ON
22 = Excessive change is vehicle speed sensor signal/A problem with average vehicle speed and engine speed

1. Disconnection the EPS control unit connector A (2P) and the motor connector 2P
2. Check for continuity between EPS control unit connector A (2P) terminal No. 2 (Red wire) and motor 2P connector connector terminal No. 1 (red wire)

is there continuity?
Yes, got to step 3
No, Repair open in wire between EPS control unit and motor

3. Check for continuity between the EPS control unit connector A (2P) terminal No. 1 (GRN) and motor 2P connector terminal No 2 (GRN)

is there continuity?

Yes, got to step 4
No, Repair open in wire between EPS control unit and motor

4. Check for continuity between the EPS control unit connector A (2P) terminal No. 2 terminal No 1

Yes, Repair short between the RED and GRN wires for the EPS motor circuit
No, Replace the steering gearbox (short circuit to body ground inside the gearbox)
