Default Exhaust to Loud - adding a muffler under the car

Hi

I bought a S2000 which has a Invidia Q300 V4 dual exhaust and a test pipe.
It is to loud for my taste and also a loud drone while cruising at 55mph.

I live in Iceland and the market for S2000 exhausts here is really small so I cant really sell my exhaust, and buy one that is more quite.
Has anyone installed a muffler under the car like the oem one has ?
I was thinking something like Borla or Magnaflow or just something to make it more quiet

Any help or info would be really appreciated

it has been done many times

get a nice stainless straight through resonator in 70mm to add to the exhaust it will really quiet it down and deepen the sound.

Not to thread jack, but has anybody added a 3" resonator to a Berk single exhaust? I love this thing some of the time, but it is just too damn loud a lot of the time.

Edit- a quick search came up with one person who added a resonator. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/889...nator-by-berk/

LOL

I have a q300

two options

a-you have very poor hearing

b-you have only been in the car at cruising, not outside or in another car.

going from 3 big mufflers stock and 50-60lbs of exhaust to 1 straight through muffler, a 6" resonator, and down to 20lbs it WILL get a lot louder all over the place
